Leap Motor, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer (09863), announced that its factory in Spain is expected to start mass production in October. At the same time, some projects with European automaker Stellantis have entered in-depth negotiations.

Stellantis is a shareholder of Leap Motor, and the two automakers have also established a joint venture to promote overseas expansion.

Leap Motor stated that the CKD project in Spain has been approved, with plans to introduce the Leap B10 and B05 models. The B10 is expected to begin official production in October, while the B05 is scheduled for official production in 2027. The supporting battery factory for these two models has completed site selection and is currently in the factory renovation stage. The first battery pack trial production is planned to start in April, with mass production officially beginning in July.
