Radar Finance News: On March 15 last year, the 3.15 Gala exposed chaos in the “water-retaining shrimp” industry, with some seafood processing companies excessively adding water-retaining agents like phosphates and using ice packing to increase weight. One year later, what is the current situation of the companies that were exposed?

According to Tianyancha App, Yancheng Haichuangyuan Food Co., Ltd., which was exposed during the 3.15 Gala, was established in March 2020. The legal representative is Wang Lili, with a registered capital of 5 million RMB. Its business scope includes food production, frozen seafood processing, seafood procurement, and wholesale. Shareholder information shows that the company is jointly held by Wang Lili and Wang Bing. Administrative penalty information indicates that in May 2025, the company was fined approximately 699,000 RMB by the Sheyang County Market Supervision Administration for non-compliance with labeling regulations and management issues, with illegal gains of about 140,000 RMB confiscated.

Another company exposed during the 3.15 Gala, Zhanjiang Shangfangzhou Food Co., Ltd., was established in September 2010. The legal representative is Huang Yuzhuo, with a registered capital of 5 million RMB. Its business scope includes seafood wholesale and retail. Shareholder information shows that the company is jointly held by Huang Yuzhuo and Huang Madi. Administrative penalty information indicates that in April 2025, the company was fined about 2.26 million RMB and had its food production license revoked by the Suixi County Market Supervision Administration.
