Hidden Wounds, a South Carolina-based nonprofit, received a $50,000 donation from Philip Morris International U.S. (PMI U.S.) to enhance rapid mental-health stabilization, suicide prevention, and essential services for at-risk veterans. This funding addresses the critical issue of rising veteran suicides and strengthens Hidden Wounds’ efforts, which included supporting over 8,000 veterans in 2025 and initiating construction on Village Alpha, a permanent housing community for veterans. PMI U.S. stated this gift aligns with its broader commitment to pragmatic philanthropy, having invested over $35 million in charitable giving since 2022.
