On the occasion of the 44th “3.15” International Consumer Rights Day, CITIC Bank Shanghai Branch has extensively carried out financial consumer rights protection education and publicity activities. Under the theme “Clear Financial Networks, Protecting Peace of Mind in Consumption,” the bank focuses on key groups such as “the elderly, children, and newcomers,” helping to build a healthy and harmonious financial consumption environment.

Focusing on Key Groups to Warm Hearts with Financial Services

Groups such as “the elderly, children, and newcomers” are always the重点 of CITIC Bank Shanghai Branch’s financial knowledge promotion efforts. To meet the financial service needs of these groups, the bank proactively extends its service reach, actively coordinating with nursing homes, schools, party-mass service centers, and other platforms to establish a “Happiness Guardian Station” for special publicity.

At Youxinfu Nursing Home, the bank conducts financial knowledge lectures tailored to the elderly, using real cases to alert seniors to typical scams such as AI voice impersonation of relatives and AI face-swapping video calls. The lectures cover personal information protection, phishing link identification, public Wi-Fi safety, and other key points. Through hands-on guidance in experiencing basic AI applications, seniors can enjoy the convenience of smart technology while strengthening their safety defenses.

At Shanghai No.3 Girls’ Junior High School, the bank collaborates with the school to carry out the themed activity “3.5 Lei Feng ‘Stall’ Play Plan,” which uses books as a bridge to combine love transmission with financial knowledge promotion, strengthening the financial safety net for youth. During the event, students can exchange their idle extracurricular reading materials for new books and learn small financial tips such as personal information protection, prevention of telecom and online fraud, and staying away from illegal financial activities, further enhancing their financial safety awareness and self-protection skills.

At the “Kintetsu e-Station” Party-Mass Service Station, the bank focuses on new citizens such as delivery workers and micro-enterprise practitioners, conducting special activities that combine convenient services with financial knowledge dissemination. The bank not only provides free monthly haircuts to new citizens to address their daily needs but also uses this opportunity to promote financial knowledge, explaining issues like illegal online loans and false investment traps, bringing practical financial safety knowledge directly to new citizens.

During the event, CITIC Bank Shanghai Branch displayed promotional posters at various branches, distributed brochures on preventing telecom and online fraud and illegal代理, creating a good publicity atmosphere.
