General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council: Guide central enterprises to deeply develop and expand in revolutionary old areas
People's Financial News, March 13 — The General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council issued the “Opinions on Accelerating the Revitalization and Development of Revolutionary Old Areas,” which emphasizes strengthening policy support. Eligible revolutionary old areas will be incorporated into national key ecological function zones, energy and resource-rich zones, and areas rich in historical and cultural resources, among other special functional zones, following proper procedures. Resources and elements will be secured to support major infrastructure, key livelihood projects, and important industrial projects in revolutionary old areas. Land and forest use for projects that meet the criteria will be prioritized according to planning indicators. Revolutionary old areas are encouraged to undertake reform tasks in cross-administrative cooperation, urban-rural integration, ecological protection compensation, and other fields based on local realities. Central enterprises are guided to deepen their development in revolutionary old areas. The roles of various levels of revolutionary old area construction promotion associations will be fully utilized.
