Switzerland refuses two U.S. military aircraft to fly over its airspace

According to the Swiss Federal Government website, the Swiss Federal Council on the 14th rejected the application for two U.S. military aircraft involved in the Iran conflict to fly over Swiss airspace. The message stated that the Swiss Federal Council made decisions on multiple applications for U.S. military aircraft to fly over Swiss airspace on that day. In accordance with neutrality laws, the Swiss Federal Council rejected the application for two U.S. reconnaissance planes to fly over Swiss airspace on the 15th. Switzerland has decided that future applications for overflight that are clearly unrelated to conflicts will be approved. If the flight exceeds normal range and its purpose cannot be determined, the application will be rejected. Applications involving humanitarian and medical purposes should be approved. (Xinhua)
