UnitedHealth Group has reportedly capped employee pay raises for the year at 0% to 2%, depending on performance. This comes amidst recent layoffs and a projection earlier this year that the company’s 2026 revenue would decline, a first in decades. The company’s stock was also affected by a smaller-than-expected increase to 2027 Medicare Advantage rates proposed by the Trump administration.
