Chinese Embassy in South Korea: 1 Chinese citizen injured in Seoul hotel fire

The Chinese Embassy in South Korea confirmed that one Chinese person was injured in a fire at a hotel in the Myeongdong area of downtown Seoul. The embassy stated that they will visit the injured at the hospital and have urged the Korean authorities to provide full medical treatment and quickly determine the cause of the fire.

At around 6:10 p.m. local time on Saturday (14th), a fire broke out at a hotel in a seven-story building in the Myeongdong area of central Seoul. The fire was extinguished after more than three hours. So far, the fire has injured a total of 10 people, including three seriously injured. It is reported that all the injured are foreign tourists.
