Starbucks Workers United announced it has made a new comprehensive contract proposal and is in discussions with Starbucks to restart negotiations. This development follows a period of stalled talks and a recent strike, with the union proposing a US$17 minimum wage, 4% annual raises, and specific staffing requirements. The two parties have yet to reach a collective bargaining agreement since the first Starbucks café unionized over four years ago.
