Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated that Ethereum should consider revisiting the current architectural design that separates Beacon clients from execution clients in the future. He pointed out that the current complexity of running two node processes and having them communicate with each other is high, which is not conducive to improving the experience of ordinary users running nodes. In the short term, this can be simplified through standardized packaging tools (such as Docker solutions), while in the long term, as the Lean Ethereum consensus scheme gradually matures, Ethereum's architecture may be re-evaluated.
