Vitalik: The separation architecture between Ethereum's Beacon Chain and execution clients should be reconsidered

ChainCatcher News: Vitalik posted on X platform stating that we should remain open to the current architecture of Ethereum's separate beacon chain and execution clients. He believes that running two guardian processes and enabling their communication is significantly more complex than operating a single guardian process.\n\nVitalik pointed out that Ethereum's goal is to allow users to use the network in a self-custodied manner while providing a good user experience. In many cases, this means running their own nodes, but the current node operation methods add unnecessary complexity. He suggests that in the short term, a more standardized foundational packaging solution could enable users to install Docker images of different clients for easier communication. Additionally, as the LeanEthereum consensus scheme matures, future considerations should include re-evaluating the overall architecture design.
