He believes that running two guardian processes and enabling their communication is significantly more complex than operating a single guardian process.\n\nVitalik pointed out that Ethereum's goal is to allow users to use the network in a self-custodied manner while providing a good user experience. In many cases, this means running their own nodes, but the current node operation methods add unnecessary complexity. He suggests that in the short term, a more standardized foundational packaging solution could enable users to install Docker images of different clients for easier communication. Additionally, as the LeanEthereum consensus scheme matures, future considerations should include re-evaluating the overall architecture design.
