Techub News reports that Nancy Guthrie, 84-year-old mother of "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie, was kidnapped at her home in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1. The kidnappers later sent ransom letters to TMZ and two local Tucson TV stations, demanding approximately $6 million worth of Bitcoin in ransom. TMZ founder Harvey Levin stated that the Bitcoin accounts listed in the ransom letters have shown transaction activity, but for various reasons, the specific transaction amounts have not been disclosed yet.
