The real-world asset (RWA) tokenization sector continues to heat up. The deposit net worth of Horizon RWA, a main lending protocol under Aave, has surpassed $600 million, maintaining its position as the largest RWA collateralized loan market. This figure reflects an accelerating trend of traditional financial assets migrating onto the blockchain—from real estate and bonds to commodities, more and more real-world assets are entering the DeFi ecosystem through tokenization. For investors, this means more diverse collateral options and yield opportunities; for DeFi protocols, it further solidifies ecosystem barriers and competitiveness.

600 million USD? This is the real breaking of the circle; even old-school traditional finance guys are starting to get into blockchain, haha.

When Bitcoin hits a new high, everyone is talking about RWA, and now they’re doing it again... Cycles, some stories are just repeated over and over. --- 600 million sounds impressive, but the day real assets actually go on-chain still depends on whether traditional finance is willing to lower its head and be compliant. --- Aave is indeed smart, but don’t forget — the protocols that ultimately become stepping stones for the ecosystem are often the ones that boast the most. --- The rise of RWA indicates that the crypto world is running out of passionate stories. This is a bottom signal. --- Asset tokenization has been talked about for five years, and each bull market brings a new explanation. Survivorship bias causes people to only remember the successful cases. --- Instead of focusing on 600 million in deposits, look at the actual default rates of these RWAs... Unfortunately, no one is calculating this.

Really, RWA is on the rise. Aave directly invested 600 million, and it seems traditional finance is finally starting to take on-chain assets seriously.
