Just added a crypto payment card to my mobile wallet! Tried it out, and it really allows direct spending with mainstream cryptocurrencies. BTC, ETH, SOL, BASE—these are all supported. This is the true realization of crypto—it's not just holding, but actually spending.
I used to think coins were only for trading and flipping, but now with the payment card, it feels like a new world has opened up. The most exciting thing now is to see when more merchants will adopt it. Only then will crypto payments truly become part of daily life. How about you? Have you also set up your card?

The payment card was set up early, but to be honest, it's not very useful... The merchant integration process is also too slow.

I've already installed it, but the merchant side is indeed a bottleneck. It would be great when convenience stores can all scan codes.

I installed the card as soon as I received it, but the fees are a bit outrageous... the day I can actually use it for daily spending is still far away.

ngl the merchant adoption part is where it gets tricky... like yeah cards are cute but the real question nobody asks is what happens to the incentive structures when you actually need velocity? historical precedent suggests these things tend to hit friction around the stakeholder alignment phase, just saying

Wait, can I really buy coffee directly with BTC now? So the crypto world is finally not just about speculation anymore.

Payment cards are indeed a good layout, but when considering transaction fees and on-chain costs, the hash power return rate is actually more stable. After observing SOL's TPS performance, payment scenarios do have an advantage.

Is the card really useful? How are the currency exchange fees?

Cards have been used, but what about real-world scenarios? Currently, it still mainly relies on exchange debit cards, and the acceptance by actual merchants is concerning.
