In the Solana ecosystem, truly integrated privacy card products with Apple Pay and Google Pay remain a blank space. Looking back, Sol Card once reached a valuation of $55 million in this track, but subsequent similar innovations have been rare.

These types of payment cards need to meet both privacy attributes and mainstream payment channel access, with high technical barriers and compliance costs. However, the market demand is there—the Solana user base indeed needs such a bridging solution that can find a balance between on-chain privacy and real-world payments.

A new round of projects is underway. Worth watching.

Sol Card's $55 million is gone, I really can't keep up anymore.

Sol Card was really impressive back then. Why is there no news about it now? Could it be that compliance has shut down this path?

Sol Card was hyped up back then, but now there's no news... The issue with privacy cards is essentially a deadlock between technology and compliance. Whoever compromises first will be the one to fail.

Sol Card took a huge loss, with a market cap of 55 million that couldn't hold up. Who would dare to get involved in this anymore...

Sol Card's moves were really wasted; I had the chance but didn't seize it.

sol card was really popular back then, but now there's no news at all --- Privacy card + mainstream payments, it's easy to say but really hard to implement --- Wait, can this really solve compliance issues? Feels like a deadlock --- Solana users do lack something like this, but can new projects survive for more than a year... --- Basically, it's a tug-of-war between market demand and actual costs --- Why does this track always have more dead than alive --- Privacy + payments, it sounds like walking a tightrope

How did Sol Card die back then? It really seemed like there was a genuine need.

Sol Card's valuation of 55 million now seems a bit questionable; compliance really hits a wall.
