Regarding naked positions, I have seen too many people suffer big losses.

Where is the problem? Many beginners make the same mistake — opening a position first and only then thinking about setting a stop-loss. It sounds like no big deal, but in reality, this is the prelude to liquidation. During extreme market conditions, prices can gap instantly, and before you even react, your position may be triggered for liquidation. Even if you make some short-term profits, operating this way in the long run will inevitably lead the market to take back all your gains.

More importantly, many exchanges now offer mandatory stop-loss features. When opening a position, you can directly bind a stop-loss order that cannot be canceled, which is actually a way of protecting yourself. Once this habit is formed, risk control becomes an unconscious behavior rather than a remedial action after the fact.

To put it simply, all positions must be managed with risk control. Even for highly volatile coins like SOL, BNB, XRP, you need to ensure you can survive first before aiming for big profits. Avoiding naked positions is not conservative; it’s a fundamental skill to survive longer in this market.

Living is more important than making money, this statement is so true.

Honestly, stop-loss should have become a conditioned reflex long ago, otherwise you'll be wiped out sooner or later.

I have a strong say now; this is how I was liquidated before.

After all these years, there are still people holding positions without any hedging, it's really outrageous.

Really, holding a naked position is playing with fire. I've seen too many people revert to their previous lows in a single wave before.

Really, I've seen several blow up around me too, just because of greed and not setting stop-losses.

Really, a friend of mine lost everything because of an unhedged position. Now I have to set a stop-loss before opening any position, or I can't sleep.

Really, going all-in is crazy. My friend almost got liquidated last week because of this and has been regretting it every day.

Really, the lesson of a full position liquidation ten times over—if you don't cut losses, you're just waiting to die.
