Sounds good, but is it really that easy to implement in practice? It feels like another wave of idealized narratives. Everyone talks about self-sovereign identity, but the question is, who ensures the security of the private keys... Isn't it still up to the user? Most people can't even remember their passwords. That said, if identity can truly be unified and controlled, I agree it can shake off the constraints of centralized platforms. My main concern is, what if one day the wallet gets hacked or the seed phrase is forgotten, and the identity is lost... Is it more free or more dangerous? After all this time of promoting Web3 infrastructure, why haven't we seen a killer application yet?

Well said. Autonomous identity is indeed a key infrastructure. It's much better than being exploited by major platforms to harvest users. If this can truly be implemented, how many people's privacy can be saved? Emm, but executing this might not be so simple. How to solve the issues related to cross-chain compatibility? Autonomous identity is indeed the big direction, but whether it can really be implemented depends on whether people actually use it. It sounds good, but who still trusts this kind of thing now? Data sovereignty sounds great, but I'm afraid it's just another utopian promise. I really like this logic, provided it doesn't get secretly taken over by some centralized organization again.
