Many people enter the contract market with a hope: to turn small capital into a fortune. But the result often reverses—accounts are wiped out in a sudden market move, and liquidation becomes all too common. Then comes the cycle of blame: the market is a casino, the trend is uncontrollable, or it's just bad luck.
But the truth isn't that complicated. Liquidation is never an accident; it's an inevitable outcome of cognitive perception.
The most common misconception is leverage multiples. 3x, 5x sounds reasonable, but in reality, it only prolongs the time to exit. Leverage isn't just simple addition of risk; it's a multiplication of risk. Every fee, slippage, and frequent operation—seemingly minor losses—are like invisible knives constantly eroding the principal. What's more sobering is this math problem: a 50% loss requires doubling to break even, while a 90% loss needs a ninefold increase. That's why so many fall into the dead cycle of "try again"—reinvest, hold positions, get liquidated again, zero out, and repeat.
The real turning point comes from one decision: abandon feelings and invest in a system. I then focused my energy on one tool—the BOLL indicator. Instead of chasing fancy signal combinations, I observe when the Bollinger Bands open and contract. Interestingly, before most trend starts, this indicator always signals early.
Using this method, I experienced a phase of 30x returns in one month. This is not an exaggeration but the result of discipline and methodology colliding. Rules lock in emotions; the system beats the market—this is not just hype, but a truth understood by those who survive in the market.
