Control your hands, and you can control your money.
Open the market software, and it's a sea of red and green. Your fingers start to become restless again, right? I've seen this show too many times: a certain coin suddenly surges, a bunch of people rush in, only to hold stubbornly at the top; when the market reverses, panic sets in, and they sell in a panic, only for the price to rebound immediately afterward. Then they can only slap their thighs in frustration while watching the screen.
Every day, the same story plays out. But I want to tell you a counterintuitive fact— in this market, those who are "not smart" often make more money.
I started messing around in this circle back in 2018. During the 2022 bear market, I lost 60%, which was quite disastrous. But it was also during that time that I developed a "stupid method" that not only recovered my principal but also gradually accumulated stable profits. This method boils down to four words: control your emotions.
**The crypto world is a magnifier of human nature**
When a coin doubles overnight and the forum is full of stories of "financial freedom," it's hard not to be tempted. Conversely, when the market crashes significantly, panic spreads, and selling in a panic seems like the only way out. Most losses actually come from emotional chasing and panic selling.
I still remember that bull market in 2021. When Bitcoin hit $60,000, how many people were blinded by FOMO and went all-in with their savings? As the market turned against them, these people became the bagholders at the top.
I set a strict rule for myself: better to miss out than to make a mistake. If I don't see familiar signals, I just watch and don't move. This requires immense patience, like a hunter waiting patiently by a trap for prey to come to him. Earlier this year, a hot coin surged 300% in a week. Everyone in the group was showing off their gains, but I chose to observe from a distance because that’s not my style.
