I recently read an in-depth analysis of digital wallets, which was quite interesting.

When it comes to wallets, usability is actually secondary—the real focus is on security. This is the red line that wallet products must never cross.

A leading exchange has a pretty good approach to security strategies: instead of letting users stumble into pitfalls a few times, it's better to eliminate risks before transaction confirmation. What's the difference in this approach? One is reactive, the other is proactive defense. The former is like fixing problems after they occur, while the latter cuts off the risk before danger happens.

For users, this means that every time they click "Confirm," it undergoes system-level security verification. This design concept is indeed worth industry reference.

Safety first is a good point, but in practice? There are very few who can truly achieve it.

Well said, proactive defense is really much better than remedial measures after the fact. I'm just worried that some wallets are still using outdated methods and only think about changing them after something happens.

Well said, but what about reality? The time I lost everything was because I was tricked by "security verification." On-chain data showed low risk, but I still got wrecked. The scammers really know how to put on a show.

Proactive defense is truly effective and much more reliable than those post-mortem solutions.

Honestly, exchanges have been messing around with security all along, and this one finally figured it out.

Well said, but the reality is that most wallets are still stuck in the passive defense routine...

Active defense truly hits the mark; it's much more reliable than post-event armchair strategizing.
