Many people enter the crypto world with a simple goal—wanting to change their lives. But this market is never short of stories of overnight riches, yet few have seriously considered: where exactly are the risks?

This is not just a problem in the crypto space. Wherever there is a chance to make big money, the first thing to learn is how to survive. The first half of profitability is always about protection, not recklessness. Set the risks properly, manage your positions well, keep the right mindset, and then the rest is worth pondering.

Market volatility is intense. Some people instantly wipe out their holdings due to a single decision, while others rely on patience and discipline to steadily withdraw profits from crypto assets. What's the difference? The former is thinking about how to double quickly, while the latter is thinking about how to survive longer.

Opportunities in the crypto space are indeed tempting, but the prerequisite is that you must first learn how to survive. Stable profits may not seem as exciting, but the power of compound interest will reveal itself over time. Accumulate steadily first, then unleash gradually—this is not conservatism, but wisdom.

Well said, but in reality, how many people can truly do it? Most are still blinded by FOMO.

That's right, but too many people are brainwashed by the idea of getting rich overnight and haven't thought about how to come out alive. Living long is the real key, but unfortunately most people can't listen. They haven't even done proper risk control yet they're thinking about multiplying tenfold, which is funny. The power of compound interest is indeed formidable, but you have to live until that day, and that's the problem. I've seen too many people go all in and then gamble everything away, ending up with nothing. Honestly, rather than stories of getting rich quickly, I prefer to hear what those who have survived stably are thinking.

That's true, but how many can actually do it? Most people can't resist when they see others get rich quickly, and in the end, they all throw risk management out of the window.

Uh... I'm just saying, everything in this article is correct, but when the market actually comes, who can hold on? Haha, I'm just that fool who runs at double the gain.

That's true, but most people can't listen. They all want to turn things around overnight, but who has really calculated how much they could lose?

That's so true. Risk management is really seriously underestimated. Many people come in thinking they can double their money overnight, only to get beaten up and scream in pain—it's hilarious. Surviving is the top priority; this must be engraved in your mind. There are many who have wiped out their entire fortune by bottom-fishing. Is it really that hard to recognize your own risk tolerance? Consistent withdrawals may not seem as sexy, but the ones who truly make money are these people. If you can't manage your position well, no matter how many opportunities you have, it's all pointless.
