I heard that the trading competition has been split into two parts, and the quota has been directly halved. What does this mean? The number of participants has dropped by several thousand.

The most heartbreaking part is: fewer quotas make the competition even more intense. Everyone is fighting for limited spots, and trading volume can only pile up, increasing wear and tear. Those who relied on trading contests to hedge transaction fees now have little chance. Many have simply given up and turned to trading some relatively stable coins, but this also limits liquidity growth.

ESPORTS and RLS are both approaching four times the returns. The market continues like this, with new coins rotating in. Who will be next? Looking at new projects like $KGEN, I keep wondering where the next opportunity will be.
ESPORTS1.73%
RLS-6.73%
KGEN0.76%

The quota cut still causes people to fight to the death, isn't this just a disguised way of harvesting leeks... Originally wanted to get free trading fees, but the path is blocked. --- ESPORTS has already quadrupled, will the next be another wake-up call from yesterday's dream? --- With fewer quotas, big players can win outright, retail investors fight hard but still have to pay gas fees, it's hilarious. --- Liquidity can't improve, this move by the exchange is indeed a bit desperate... --- Everyone says new coin rotation, but the question is who can hit the right timing? $KGEN, I looked at it briefly, and there's nothing particularly special. --- Abandon trading competitions and switch to minting stablecoins, isn't this just a disguised admission that their technology isn't good enough? --- Once the two-part system was introduced, it feels like the ecosystem has actually become more sluggish.

actually, this is just textbook adverse selection playing out in real time—fewer slots means higher barriers to entry, so you get this perverse outcome where only the most aggressive traders remain, which ironically tanks the very liquidity the platform wanted to attract in the first place

The quota being cut in half instead leads to even more chaos, isn't that shooting oneself in the foot? --- If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have bothered with the trading competition. Now the fee hedging is gone, and I'm losing big. --- Less quotas but more intense competition? That logic... really makes retail investors struggle. --- ESPORTS is almost reaching its peak. Is KGEN taking over now or waiting for the next one? --- Liquidity isn't improving, and participation is decreasing. Is this a disguised way of cutting the leeks? --- Switching to stablecoins is a smart choice, but the returns have also shrunk accordingly. --- When will the next round come? It's hard to tell now. --- Cutting the quota in half is one thing, but competition is even fiercer. Isn't that just pushing people out? --- Instead of competing in trading contests, it's better to focus on the rotation patterns of new coins, which is more hassle-free. --- The route of fee hedging has been blocked; I need to think of other ways out.

Damn, the quota was halved and now it’s even more competitive. That logic is really incredible. --- The days of arbitrage through trading competitions are basically over; now it’s no different from a fight for survival. --- Instead of wasting fees here, it’s better to wait for the next opportunity. Can $KGEN catch it? --- Liquidity is indeed awkward; instead of gaining momentum, it’s becoming more and more sluggish. --- ESPORTS is almost four times bigger, can it still keep up? Really? I feel like I came too late.
