🔷 According to Etherscan, on December 22, the first layer Ethereum network processed the highest number of transactions in a day in 2025 – 1,913,481 with an average fee of $0.16.
The record is a result of a combination of high throughput and low costs, which is directly attributable to two major network upgrades in 2025.
✅ The Pectra upgrade optimized interactions on the second layer, and Fusaka increased the block size by approximately 33%.
