The calm before the storm... Will there be a major market move next week?

First of all, the year-end central bank super week, when major central banks around the world will release interest rate decisions, including Japan, Europe, and the UK. Japan is expected to raise interest rates next Friday, and other major central banks are gradually shifting towards tightening. The rate-cut cycle in 2025 can essentially be considered over.

Next year, 2026, most countries are inclined to keep rates unchanged, and some like Europe and Australia are even considering rate hikes because they cut too much in 2025. This has led to rallies in US stocks, European stocks, gold, silver, and the cryptocurrency market. However, the easing is not unlimited; major markets have already reached neutral interest rates, and in 2026, there will be no monetary easing support.

Therefore, at least in the first half of next year, I am more bearish. After a brief rebound following the Fed's rate cut, I have started to re-establish short positions. I am now gradually re-entering half of my previous profits. The price is a bit low now, and I hope the market will rebound before adding more positions.
Aside from my current holdings, I also have sell orders on BTC at 95,000 and ETH at 3400 resistance levels. I will enter as many as I can fill, not aiming to short at the very top. My long-term positions aim to capture the main body of the market move, not chasing the peaks or troughs, as extremes can backfire.

The crypto market is full of uncertainties and challenges, but it also contains potential opportunities. Investors should fully understand the related risks, stay calm and rational, and adopt a prudent strategy to navigate market changes!
