Don't remind me again today

#美SEC促进加密资产创新监管框架 Got a message in the middle of the night: "I've been losing sleep lately, afraid the market will wipe me out again."

This sounds all too familiar. It reminds me of when I first entered the space—hundreds of thousands in principal got whittled down to just a few thousand by the market, round after round—chasing highs, panic selling, going all-in, trading on emotion. I made every mistake in the book.

It was only after the pain that I realized trading isn't about luck.

Later, I set a few hard rules for myself:

**Don’t make a move unless the price hits my target**
No matter how hot the market is, if it doesn’t meet my expectations, I stay on the sidelines. Better to miss an opportunity than to act rashly.

**Principal always comes first**
Before opening any position, I think about how much I could lose, not how much I could gain. Managing my position size is managing my life.

**Take profits in batches**
Main position follows the trend, while the secondary position takes profits gradually. You need to lock in your gains while you’re ahead.

**Don’t act without a clear signal**
If direction, structure, and volume aren’t aligned, I stay out. Trust the system, not your feelings.

This all sounds simple, but only after truly sticking to it did my account start to grow steadily. People ask me how I’m doing now, and all I can say is: at least I can sleep at night, and I’m slowly earning back what I lost before.

The market doesn’t have sympathy for anyone. It only rewards those with discipline.

Haha, this is the truth. Undisciplined people wouldn't have survived until now. What I fear most are those who change their stance three times a day just by watching the market—they can play themselves into doubting their own life.

pattern recognition is everything. those emotional traders? their wallet signatures are screaming inefficiency before they even realize it... transaction velocity spikes, clustering behavior, the whole choreography gives them away tbh. sec framework won't fix that though, discipline is the real innovation nobody wants to admit exists.

You're absolutely right. I used to be like that too, my hands would shake uncontrollably watching the market at midnight. Now I just stick strictly to my rules, otherwise it's really impossible to survive.

Absolutely right, sleep quality is truly a barometer of account health.

To be honest, I've heard quite a few people talk about these rules, but very few can actually stick to them... I myself paid a lot of tuition before I understood, it's tough.

Sleep and insomnia are truly the biggest enemies in trading. This guy is absolutely right. Back in the day, I also got completely shaken out, and only later did I realize that mindset is even more important than technique. But honestly, the number of people who truly stick with it is extremely rare...

Ah, this is the real truth. Discipline is truly the lifeblood of trading. I used to be a newbie who watched the charts late at night and was ruled by emotions, but now I've slowly learned that following the rules is the most profitable way.
