Is the dream of getting rich from low-priced coins a trap for suckers? A real review of 10 penny coins.
A couple of days ago, someone asked me why some coins have skyrocketed from 0.00001 to 0.001, a 100-fold increase, while most people ended up losing their shirts? I decided to take a look at the 10 hottest low-priced coins on the market (<1 cent).
You need to know: Why low-priced coins are attractive
In short, one sentence - cheap things rise faster.
BONK surged 7000% last year, directly exploding all mainstream exchanges after emerging from the Solana ecosystem. SHIB, which was a joke coin back then, skyrocketed from 0.00000010 to 0.00008616, making a fortune for many retail investors. But what is the logic behind this? It's low base = high multiple potential.
The problem is: not every low-priced coin can increase by 100 times. Among the more than 14,000 coins on the market, 99% are dead coins.
The few I am most optimistic about:
Bonk (BONK) - Current price $0.00002011, Market cap 1.33 billion
Shiba Inu (SHIB) - Current price $0.00001793, Market cap 10.58 billion
Pepe (PEPE) - Current price $0.00001127, Market cap 4.74 billion
eCash (XEC) - Current price $0.00003057, Market cap 599.7 million
Sats (Ordinals) - Current price $0.0000001669, Market cap 349.7 million
Highlights of the New Project:
5thScape (5SCAPE) - Presale price $0.01, raised 6 million
CorgiAI (CORGIAI) - Current price $0.001161, Market cap 398.8 million
Before investing in these coins, ask yourself a few questions:
Heartfelt Words:
Low-priced coins can make money, but it's never the “majority of people” who profit. The miracle of SHIB rising from 0.00000010 to 0.00008616 is due to a very small number of people recognizing its community value early on. As for the remaining 99% of low-priced coins, they either die out or become tools for the whales to harvest retail investors.
So how much to invest? Only invest what you can afford to lose. Don't YOLO, use dollar-cost averaging to diversify risk. When a good coin appears, the first wave of increase is the most insane, but it is also the easiest to fall into a pit.
