RLUSD lands on Bitpanda, Ripple's stablecoin territory expands again

Just now, Bitpanda has launched Ripple’s USD stablecoin, RLUSD. This means UK users can now directly access this compliant stablecoin.

In short: RLUSD is a fully USD-backed stablecoin, issued officially by Ripple, and mainly targeted at both retail and institutional users. With this move, Bitpanda is expanding its stablecoin product line and also strengthening its position in the UK market—after all, demand for digital assets is on the rise in the UK.

Why is this important?

Bitpanda’s co-CEO Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad put it quite clearly: stablecoins are changing the way global payments work, making them faster and more cost-effective. This partnership with Ripple is about building a bridge between traditional finance and digital assets.

The key point: RLUSD is fully compliant, transparent, and backed by ample USD reserves, which is highly attractive to both institutions and regulators. In other words, this stablecoin is designed for large-scale usage.
