Under the rapid offensive of established altcoins, the market has stabilized in the short term. Yesterday, I mentioned that the rally of these established altcoins could potentially drive the market to warm up, but most comments believed this was unlikely. This is actually understandable, as many of these altcoins have already fallen by 90% from their relative highs, and past historical experience tells us that the rallies of these established altcoins generally indicate that the market is about to end, with the vast majority having a history of scams.
First, I want to clarify that the vast majority of these old altcoins are not worth our time for value investing; they can only be traded from a speculative perspective for medium to short-term speculation. A friend in the comments pointed out something very reasonable: the rise of ZEC is due to the need for mining machine manufacturers to sell their products. From another angle, this is essentially the main players controlling the market; however, the profits do not come from the rise in coin prices, but from the profits of the mining machines. Many other established altcoins have survived to this day because they have one or more major players behind them, and the initiative for price fluctuations is in their hands.
Speaking of which, my attitude is actually very clear: that is to play as little as possible or not at all. As for whether these coins can continue to rally, objectively speaking, after the main force starts to operate, they generally won't easily let the price drop, because the market hasn't formed followers yet. It is necessary to continue raising the price to attract investors from the secondary market. This is also why I believe that the rise of established altcoins could become a key factor for the overall market's recovery. As long as the rally continues to create a new wealth effect, the overall market will naturally follow.
In terms of the market, apart from the overall good performance of the established altcoins, other coins are still underperforming.
