Looking back at the crypto assets market over the years, I increasingly realize a fact: many investors are still immersed in unrealistic fantasies. They openly shout their optimism about the market, but their hearts are filled with uncertainty.

The current market environment has undergone fundamental changes. Old investors cling to projects they invested in years ago, attached to emotional ties, hoping these assets can be resurrected. However, reality is ruthless: while others seize new opportunities to profit, these individuals are trapped by memories of the past. The result of four years of long waiting is merely a significant depreciation in asset value and a series of missed investment opportunities.

In contrast, the attitudes of new participants in the market are completely different. They no longer focus on so-called "project consensus" or "technological revolution," but only concentrate on return rates and short-term profits. They would rather bet everything on meme coins and engage in high-leverage trading than pick up so-called "classic projects." They have seen through that today's encryption field is no longer a stage for idealism but has become a venue for liquidity games.

$BTC and $ETH have become tools manipulated by big capital, looking glamorous on the surface, but in reality, they have long been controlled by Wall Street. The crypto market experiences severe fluctuations with even slight movements in the U.S. stock market. Bitcoin has lost its property of freedom, Ethereum has lost its spirit of innovation, venture capital institutions have suffered heavy losses, while USDT has become a reservoir of funds for U.S. Treasury bonds. In short, the current crypto world resembles an extension of the dollar system.

Many people are still looking forward to the "next bull market", but the fact is - this wave is not an ordinary bull market, but a liquidation. Liquidation of whom? Liquidation of retail investors, liquidation of blind believers, liquidation of those participants who do not understand market rules yet still hold on to their own views.

I discussed this topic with an old friend, and he believes that "in the past, profits were made through faith, but now victory comes from cognition," while I added, "the future will be dominated by rules." Therefore, my current investment philosophy is very clear: do not indulge in fantasies, do not go all in, just follow the flow of funds. Participate in profits when the market is good, choose to observe when the market is not favorable, and keeping cash is also a strategy.

The crypto market will not disappear, but retail investors will be continuously eliminated. To survive in this environment, one must first accept the reality: this market has never actively saved small investors. But I am not worried, because I have mastered the methods to survive within the framework of the rules.
