The cancer fund donated by CEX to Malta in 2018 has not been withdrawn, and its value has increased by 195 times during this period.

On October 14, CEX executive Conor Grogan stated that the $200,000 BNB donated by CEX and encryption users in 2018 to the Malta End-of-Life Cancer Patients Fund has still not been withdrawn, and due to the recent pump in coin prices, it is now worth approximately $39 million. He urged the people of Malta to inform the government that these funds are still accessible. Previously, in 2021, the related lawsuit was dismissed, and the funds were confirmed to be found and available for use. Conor stated that the earnings from these funds "are enough to compensate for the salary gap in local medical specialist staffing."
