"Id Mubarak" - words that sound like a celebration
"Id Mubarak" is a phrase that Muslims exchange during sacred holidays. I have heard it numerous times from friends when they celebrated Uraza-Bayram and Kurban-Bayram. These words literally translate to "blessed holiday" - a simple and warm wish for joy.
It's funny that this name has now appeared in the crypto world! When I saw a coin with that name, I couldn't help but smirk. As if someone decided to monetize a sacred tradition.
And even more interestingly, the head of a well-known trading platform seems to have decided to promote this token. This gives me mixed feelings. On the one hand, crypto projects should rely on technology and real value. On the other hand, when important figures start promoting something with such a name... it’s almost like mixing religion with money.
Under the post on social media, I noticed comments in Vietnamese. One of them seems to criticize the founder of the platform for this advertisement. And indeed - when the management of a trading platform starts promoting dubious tokens, trust in them decreases.
However, such things happen constantly in the crypto world. Tomorrow a new meme token will appear, and everyone will rush after it. And the traditional Arabic greeting will remain what it should be - an expression of festive joy, not a speculative asset.
