Murder in Bali: the Chinese couple who died after a tragedy in a luxury hotel... Was the crypto money the cause?

I'm shocked by this story! A Chinese couple died in a luxury hotel in Bali and the Indonesian police closed the case quickly, but I'm finding this story very poorly told.

Xiao Li, at 25 years old, was making a lot of money trading virtual currencies - poor guy didn't know this would be his end. His girlfriend, Xiao Cheng, was only 22, a student wanting to get married after graduation. A young, beautiful couple, full of dreams... ended up in a bathtub of blood.

This story happened in May 2023, when the couple arrived in Bali to enjoy a long holiday. They argued, separated, and then met again at the InterContinental - that super expensive hotel, over 2 thousand yuan per night! The next morning, Xiao Li appeared naked, crawling down the hallway, all injured and asking for help. When the staff finally arrived (after an absurd delay!), they found Xiao Cheng dead in the bathtub.

The Bali police released a very strange story: that Xiao Li killed his girlfriend and then tried to kill himself but regretted it. To me, this is pure lies! There are five things that don't add up:

First, why would Xiao Li kill the girlfriend he loved? They were in the bathtub together, drinking wine, on a romantic night!

Secondly, both Xiao Cheng and Xiao Li had injuries that were too strange for this theory. How could the guy stab himself in the back alone? Seriously!

Third, the hotel took almost 20 minutes to help after the call. Did they go to get a wheelchair before checking? What kind of strange procedure is that?

Fourth, the police did not disclose important details of the investigation. Where are the fingerprints on the bottle? Where are the images from the cameras? Everything is very strange.

Fifth, the hotel cleaned the room quickly after the crime. Why the rush? They destroyed all the evidence!

For me, the truth is clear: the target was Xiao Li because of the cryptocurrency money. Gangsters discovered that he had made a fortune in the unregulated market and went after him. They forced him to hand over the access keys, then killed both to leave no witnesses.

The hotel and the police were probably bought off - the money they received must have been more tempting than tourism. That's why they closed the case in a hurry.

What a cruel world! A young couple dead in a foreign country, unable to find justice... For those who travel, here's a warning: be careful what you flaunt and where you stay. Sometimes, the luxury you seek can be your end.

And you, what do you think really happened to them? Was it really because of the cryptos?
