Who are these "great" Winklevoss twins and where have they ended up? 👥💰
Meet Cameron and Tyler, these American billionaire twins who consider themselves almost the inventors of social networks. I personally always chuckle, recalling how these two rich boys from Harvard squealed that Zuckerberg "stole" their great idea for Facebook. Come on, guys! So what if you got 65 million in compensation for something you probably couldn't have realized yourselves.
I remember watching their "great" achievements in rowing at the 2008 Olympics. Sixth place? Seriously? And to be proud of that? But I must admit that their real talent turned out to be something else – investing in Bitcoin at the right time when others considered it a digital toy.
In 2014, they launched their cryptocurrency exchange, which they advertise as "the most respected in the USA." Ha! As if anyone in the world of cryptocurrency truly deserves respect. Each of these exchanges has its skeletons in the closet.
Now these guys continue to portray themselves as visionaries of the crypto world – they launched a stablecoin, they are getting into NFTs (another wonderful pyramid), they are trying to push a Bitcoin ETF... All for the "revolution in finance"? Don't make me laugh! They just want to make even more money.
Yes, they became billionaires. But let's be honest – they were just lucky to be born rich, receive elite education, and be in the right place at the right time. And now they are running around with their "decentralization ideas" while they themselves control enormous capital and levers of influence.
But what really me off is their elevation to the status of "key figures" in the crypto world. These guys just invested money and opened an exchange, but for some reason they are considered geniuses. Typical golden boys with their "passion for decentralization" and private jets.
Meanwhile, bitcoin continues to fluctuate between 105-110k, and no "twin prophets" can confidently say what will happen tomorrow.
