Damn, these so-called "best books" on crypto investing? Come on! I read a couple from this list and I can say — most of them are just a collection of clichés wrapped in a nice cover.
Let's take "The Bitcoin Standard" by Ammous, for example. The author praises Bitcoin so fanatically, as if it were a second religion! Yes, the history of money is interesting, but why so openly ignore the downsides of cryptocurrencies? No objectivity!
And what about Bernski and Tatar's "Cryptoassets"? Their "analytical models" became outdated the day after the book was published! The market changes at the speed of light, yet they offer strategies that may have worked in 2018.
I lost a lot of money myself by following the advice from such books. While the authors profit from selling their opuses, naive newcomers like me were draining deposits on "promising" coins.
Even Antonopoulos's "technical" book does not provide a real understanding of how to survive in these bloody jungles. You will understand the technology, but you will still lose money.
"The only investment book you'll ever need"? Seriously? What arrogance! Every second book promises to make you a millionaire, but no one talks about how 90% of investors lose everything.
My advice is to read critical materials, not these rosy tales about easy money. And remember: the best experience is personal experience. And it is usually very painful.
And yes, if I were the author of the article, I would add at least one book about manipulations in the crypto market. Everything is set up very transparently for big players there...
