As the Federal Reserve is about to hold its interest rate meeting, I think it is necessary to share some insights.

First of all, regardless of the Federal Reserve's decision, the short-term market trend will remain upward. This trend is expected to continue until mid-October, primarily influenced by the economic cycle rather than solely determined by Federal Reserve policy.

However, we need to carefully consider the Federal Reserve's potential decision to cut interest rates. History shows that periods of rate cuts are often accompanied by global financial crises. While it may stimulate the market in the short term, in the long run (beyond 3 months), cuts in interest rates could actually become a negative factor.

What is more concerning are the risks that may arise after the interest rate cut. For example, the Bank of Japan may raise interest rates again at the meeting on October 30. In the past, the Bank of Japan's interest rate hike decisions have repeatedly triggered corrections in the cryptocurrency market, and if another rate hike occurs, the impact may be more significant. Therefore, at this point in time, investors should consider appropriately reducing their spot positions rather than blindly increasing them.

Regarding trading strategies, I have noticed that many investors are waiting for the moment when the "shoe drops" to make a big entry, hoping to profit in one go. However, this mentality often leads to significant losses.

In the current situation, I believe there are two crucial points:

1. Position Management: One should not arbitrarily increase positions due to expected interest rate cuts. The market is always full of uncertainty.

2. Stay rational: Do not let short-term fluctuations or market sentiment sway your judgment. Always base your decisions on objective analysis.

In conclusion, whether it is spot or contract trading, extra caution is required during this critical period, controlling risks, and maintaining calm and rational thinking.

You might as well stop focusing on the Fed; the market is unreliable.
