The SEC approved an Ethereum ETF with a physical creation mechanism, while the CLARITY Act reclassified ETH as a utility Token, and the GENIUS Act established reserve-backed stablecoin rules. By August 2025, these initiatives have attracted $9.4 billion in institutional inflows. In the second quarter, the capital inflow for the Ethereum ETF was 63% higher than that of the Bitcoin ETF, thanks to a 29.4% staking yield and technical upgrades like Dencun and Pectra that dropped Transaction Cost by 40%.
