Recently, the Airdrop event of the Alpha project has sparked dissatisfaction and skepticism among users. Many participants have expressed confusion and dissatisfaction with its complex claiming mechanism.
A user shared his experience: he completed facial recognition during the Airdrop pre-check stage, and when it was time to officially receive it, he had to go through facial verification again. Although he initially successfully received the Airdrop, in the next round, even after completing the same steps, he ultimately did not receive the Airdrop.
The user questioned: "What is the point of pre-checks? If every step requires repeated verification, it is unfair to the users."
Indeed, frequent identity verification processes can impact user experience. Some believe that this practice may be in place to prevent bots or malicious accounts, but it also causes inconvenience for genuine users.
This event has sparked a broader discussion: how to provide a smoother user experience while ensuring fairness and security? Project parties need to reconsider their Airdrop mechanisms and find a balance between risk prevention and optimizing user experience.
As the cryptocurrency space continues to evolve, user-friendly Airdrop mechanisms will become one of the key factors for project success. It is hoped that the Alpha project can listen to user feedback, improve its Airdrop strategy, and provide a better experience for participants.
