Just saw a wild crypto scam on TikTok and had to share.

A guy got a call from a California number. Fluent English. Said they were from Coinbase support. Claimed there was suspicious activity on his account.

Then came an email that looked like it was from Coinbase. The site had MetaMask logos and everything. Super convincing.

They even had his name, email, and phone probably from old data leaks.

But it was all fake.

The craziest part? The scam was disguised as a phishing alert. A phishing scam warning you about phishing. Wild.

Thankfully, he didn’t fall for it. Asked questions. Didn’t give up info. Scammer bailed.

Here’s the takeaway:

> Never share your seed phrase, passkey, or 2FA codes.
> Don’t trust emails or calls at face value. Double-check links and always go straight to the source.
> Use 2FA. Every time.

Scammers are getting smarter, gotta stay vigilent.
