In the crypto world, those who can make money can be roughly divided into three categories:
The first category consists of those who treat virtual currencies as assets to hold for the long term. Their operation is very simple: they choose to buy some major coins like Bitcoin and just hold them, rarely paying attention even when a bull market arrives. For them, buying coins is like accumulating assets; if they have some spare cash, they invest a little—like earning 120,000 a year and saving 30,000 to invest, with a very stable mindset. They never get caught up in the various news from the crypto world, as they know in their hearts: overthinking may not necessarily lead to greater profits, so there’s no need to exert that effort. They stick to this approach, endure through two cycles of bull and bear markets, invest a little each year, and in the end, their assets might just grow to tens of millions.
The second type relies purely on luck. These people are everywhere in the market, listening to news, mingling in circles, and playing around with hotspots, sometimes losing and sometimes earning. But in a bull market, they might just happen to pick the right coin and suddenly make tens of thousands. I have examples around me; some can timely pull out and exchange their coins for tangible things like houses and cars, preserving most of their gains; while others end up losing their money back to the crypto world. When the market is good, it’s like rain, occasionally showering them with a bit of "lucky money"; but when the market goes bad, their little money will be swallowed back along with the principal and interest—that's the luck-based players who eat off market cycles. I’ve also made money by luck, and knowing my own level, I pulled out in time and exchanged the earned money for reliable assets, which is the right approach.
The third type is truly strong. For them, the crypto world is just an ATM: they can launch projects to issue coins and harvest retail investors, they can also control the market, and they can make big profits by following trends. They mainly play with USDT (operating in stablecoin), and they are satisfied as long as the amount of stablecoins in their hands increases. They don't really believe there are assets that can be held for the long term; they think that only an increase in stablecoin quantity is real profit. This type of person can profit regardless of bull or bear markets, and when they speculate on a project, they can immediately withdraw when it's time to exit. This is precisely what makes them stronger than newcomers: they identify a project that can earn money and won't run away after making a small profit; as long as the logic for growth remains, they will continue to hold. They don't look at high or low prices; they never think "this coin is too expensive, I should sell" or "it’s too high, it might drop". They only recognize logic in their hearts; if the logic disappears, they decisively retreat. #币圈#
