MEET48 kicks off the first global Web3 idol competition today.
MEET48 – the first Web3.0 community platform integrating AI-Agent, AIUGC and fan economy in the entertainment field – has officially announced the launch of the first global Web3.0 idol competition (WIPA) at 13:00 today, June 13.
Global fans can vote for the TOP16 idols through the official MEET48 app and website. The voting period ends at 11:00 on August 2nd, and the final results will be announced during the Grand Finale and WIPA Award Ceremony, held at AsiaWorld-Expo ( Hong Kong ), the same venue as the annual festival of the strategic partner SNH48 GROUP.
The event gathers members of SNH48 GROUP, idols from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other Asian countries, the AI Agent group, along with representatives in the field of virtual characters, to compete for the TOP16 position – with rewards including an exclusive single, an international stage, and a game promotion contract.
International fans can participate in voting in four ways: using $IDOL directly, exchanging $IDOL or diamonds for voting tickets, gifting in livestream rooms on the MEET48 app, or receiving voting tickets through other means.
