Whales Are Very Active Today: Here Are Their Transactions and the Altcoins They Are Focused On!
According to crypto on-chain data, major crypto whales and institutions have made notable transactions in recent hours.
According to the data, a cryptocurrency whale deposited 3,000 Ethereum (ETH) worth $7.53 million on Binance. This whale has moved 10,000 ETH worth a total of $24.55 million to the exchange over the past two weeks. Between Dec. 6, 2024, and Jan. 14, 2025, the whale wallet accumulated 13,478 ETH worth a total of $49 million and currently holds 3,478 ETH worth $8.78 million. According to the data, this whale is facing a total loss of $15.66 million.
The digital asset finance company Abraxas Capital had opened a short position between two wallets in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Hyperliquid, and Sui altcoins according to publicly available on-chain data, and at the time of writing this article, these positions had turned a profit of 34 million dollars.
In other altcoin data, it was observed that a newly created multisig whale wallet recently withdrew a total of 4.41 million dollars worth of 14.57 million Ethena (ENA) through Binance and Bybit.
In addition to all this, popular whale trader James Wynn, who recently announced his complete exit from the futures market, opened another position worth 100 million dollars for Bitcoin with 40x leverage, according to the data.
