Foresight News reports that Polygon announced the launch of the “Agglayer Breakout” plan on X, aimed at supporting the development of aggregation chains and bringing value to POL stakers through token airdrops. The first batch of selected projects includes: @PrivadoID (formerly Polygon ID), which has begun deploying privacy identity infrastructure, with an airdrop ratio of about 5%; @0xPolygonMiden, which is about to launch, expected to airdrop about 10%; an undisclosed DeFi chain, with an airdrop ratio of about 15%; in addition, DePIN projects, proof networks, and other high-potential chains will join. Polygon states that this plan will drive the activity of Agglayer and the Polygon network, enhancing the utility of POL tokens through airdrops, network effects, and cross-chain applications. The first staking snapshot will take place next week.
