On February 26, Jinshi Data reported that Paul Chan, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, stated that the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong will propose improvements to the trading unit system within the year, allowing the trading arrangements to better match the liquidity characteristics and investment needs of shares of different sizes, facilitating trading and enhancing efficiency.
