US President-elect Donald Trump (Donald Trump) high-profile support for BTC, and even shouted the slogan “never sell your BTC”, in sharp contrast to Taiwan’s Central Bank’s past warning of BTC “speculation” and “lack of Intrinsic Value”, but yesterday (14) in the legislative court for inquiries, in the face of “legislator” Lai Shibao’s allegation that “Central Bank looks down on BTC”, Central Bank President Yang Jinlong refuted: “I don’t look down on it!”

According to comprehensive media reports, Lai Shih-pao mentioned in the interpellation that Trump accepted BTC donations during the election and vowed to become the ‘Bitcoin President,’ even urging supporters to ‘never sell BTC.’ These actions all ‘contradict President Yang’s’ disdainful views on BTC.

In response, Yang Jinlong immediately retorted, “No! We consider its price Fluctuation to be very large, and the speculative component is very high.”

Yang Jinlong added that, from what he understands, the FSC is also going to regulate cryptocurrency, and ‘regulation’ means acceptance.

Lai Shih-bao further mentioned that Trump appointed Elon Musk to lead the newly established ‘Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE),’ and Musk also said he would use Bitcoin to repay US national debt. In response, Yang Chin-lung said that Musk is ‘very good at manipulating the market,’ and he had previously claimed that Tesla could be purchased with BTC, but nothing came of it later.

Lai Shipo continued to question, so Musk was just talking casually? ‘Well, please take BTC seriously, which you have always looked down upon,’ Yang Jinlong rebutted once again after hearing this: ‘I didn’t look down upon it!’
