According to BlockBeats news on September 26, reported by Decrypt, South Korean actress Hwang Jung-eum was sentenced to two years of probation on Thursday at the Jeju District Court for misappropriating $3 million (4.34 billion Korean Won) from her personal management company to invest in Crypto Assets. This means that as long as she does not commit any crimes in the next four years, she will not have to serve time in prison. The prosecution had previously requested a three-year prison sentence in August, but the judge granted probation considering that she has fully repaid the amount and that it was her first offense with full compensation.
