Gate News bot message, according to Reuters, President Donald Trump told Congress that there was a 'nuclear weapons program' inside the Iranian base bombed by the United States, despite U.S. spy agencies saying there was no such program. Trump's comments have raised questions about whether the U.S. intelligence community supported his decision to order the attack on Iran on Sunday.
The Republican president expressed this view in a letter to House Speaker and key ally Mike Johnson on Monday, which has been posted on the White House website.
