Axiom trading platform, backed by Y Combinator, generated 100 million USD in fees just after about 4 months since its early access launch at the end of January, becoming one of the fastest startups to reach this milestone in history.
Axiom allows trading of tokens on Solana and perpetual contracts on Hyperliquid through a single interface, while also providing yield from idle capital. The platform also refunds up to 43% of fees to users based on their trading tier.
The two co-founders of Axiom – Henry Zhang (Mist) and Preston Ellis (Cal), both 22 years old, are recent graduates from UC San Diego, having previously worked at TikTok and DoorDash. They are mentored by the famous figure Jordan “Cobie” Fish.
Currently, Axiom does not have plans to issue a separate token, although there is a system of “Axiom points” to reward transactions and referrals. The platform is expected to expand to other blockchains beyond Solana and Hyperliquid.
