On-chain data shows that, after increasing their holdings by 100,000 Ethereum (ETH) today at noon, the institution BitMine has also deposited 75,600 ETH (about 176 million USD) into the Ethereum PoS staking.
Currently, BitMine has staked a total of 3.471 million ETH, accounting for approximately 70% of its total holdings of 4.976 million ETH.
This means a large amount of tokens are locked in the staking system and will not enter market circulation in the short term.
From a market structure perspective, large-scale staking usually reduces circulating supply, and also indicates that institutions prefer to hold long-term and earn on-chain rewards rather than short-term trading.
