Been digging into some old files and there's this weird intersection in Bitcoin history that doesn't get talked about enough. September 2014. Right in the middle of all this chaos with Satoshi's identity, there's Epstein connected to Bitcoin development in ways most people don't realize.

So the timeline is wild. March 2014, Newsweek identifies Dorian Nakamoto as Satoshi. The guy's 65, lives in California, actually has the name Satoshi Nakamoto. Worked on classified defense projects. Seems like the perfect match until you realize he's broke, hasn't worked in years, had a stroke. Then the real Satoshi's account, dormant for five years, suddenly posts: I am not Dorian Nakamoto. Media destroys Dorian anyway. His life gets turned upside down.

But here's where it gets interesting. Around the same time, we know Epstein was funding Bitcoin development. He gave $750k to MIT specifically to fund Bitcoin Core developers, the people actually maintaining the code. He's hosting Bitcoin meetings at his Manhattan place. Brock Pierce, Peter Thiel, all these names showing up in his orbit. By 2018 he's texting Steve Bannon about crypto tax policy, claiming he works for Treasury on this stuff.

Then in September 2014, right after Satoshi's email gets hacked on September 8th, there's this calendar entry. Eleven days later, someone listed as satoshi (bitcoin) appears on Epstein's schedule for UN Climate Week meetings with world leaders. Peter Thiel, Larry Summers, Gordon Brown, all there. It's in the Congressional release.

Was it Dorian? The guy was desperate and broke by then. Craig Wright? He was already spinning his Satoshi narrative in 2014 before it all fell apart. Or someone using the hacked accounts? The timing is too tight to ignore. Eleven days between the hack and that calendar entry.

One more thing. Hal Finney died in August 2014, just weeks before all this. He got the first Bitcoin transaction, lived near Dorian, and a lot of people think he either was Satoshi or knew who Satoshi was. Whatever he knew went with him.

Here's the thing though. Bitcoin's code works regardless of who wrote it. Satoshi's anonymity was always the entire point. But this happened. Epstein was building actual bridges between crypto and power. CIA directors, treasury people, all connected through him. And right when Satoshi's accounts got compromised, right when Bitcoin got too big to ignore, somebody using that name showed up in Epstein's world. We probably don't know the full story here.
