After years of struggling in the cryptocurrency market, I have come to a profound realization: trends are not meant to be predicted, but rather followed. The true core of profit has never been about accurately guessing the market's peaks and troughs, but rather about understanding the big picture, going with the flow, and knowing when to take a step back.

First, a macro perspective is crucial. We cannot be limited to a single indicator, as that would inevitably lead to a narrow view. The true market trend needs to be assessed through the synergy of multiple time frames. For example, when the 4-hour chart and the daily chart are both rising, the moving averages show a bullish alignment, and the trading volume is appropriate, then this trend can be considered truly established. In short, use the larger time frames to grasp the direction and the smaller time frames to find entry opportunities.

Secondly, patiently wait for a pullback opportunity. Many investors incur losses because they enter the market too early. I tend to wait for the price to retrace to key support levels after the trend is confirmed. In an upward trend, the best entry point is when the price stabilizes at important levels and gives a stop-loss signal. Although it may mean missing the lowest point, this strategy can significantly increase the success rate. Remember, market opportunities are endless, but what is truly scarce is the patience of investors.

Furthermore, learn to let profits grow. The essence of trend trading lies in: small stop losses and large profits. My strategy is to set the stop loss just below the key support level and to cut losses decisively; at the same time, I use dynamic trailing stop losses, adjusting the stop loss upwards as the price sets new highs. This way, it locks in profits without exiting too early. Remember, pullbacks in a trend are normal; as long as the major trend is not broken, you should hold on.

Finally, be wary of trend exhaustion signals. No trend lasts forever. When there is a decrease in trading volume, technical indicators diverge, and important resistance levels repeatedly fail to break, it is a signal to start reducing positions. What is the most dangerous market signal? It is the collective euphoria. When everyone around is talking about "always going up," it usually indicates that the bull market is about to end. At this point, preserving existing profits is wiser than pursuing the last bit of gains.

Overall, trend trading seems simple, but the real challenge lies in controlling one's own nature. The market will not favor those who operate blindly, but will certainly reward investors who respect the trend and patiently wait. Follow the trend, reduce predictions, and increase observation and following, and you will find that profit is not out of reach. In the ever-changing market of cryptocurrency, mastering these strategies will pave the way for your investment journey.
